HYBRID RADIOMETER RHC30 V1.2 (1995) FOR PULSED YAG LASER WITH FLASH LAMP
The hybrid radiometer RHC30 V1.2 patented in 1995, was developed for the metrology of pulsed YAG lasers with flash lamp. It simultaneously uses two types of sensors: a slow response thermopile that integrates the laser pulses to extract the average power and a fast photodiode which measures the frequency and pulse width. When stability is reached are calculated average values of energy and peak power pulses which are then displayed with the parameters measured. The 1.2 version was designed to operate on fixed frequency pulsed lasers. The response time of the thermopile was deliberately lengthened to provide power measurements without beating from some pulse frequency of 0.1Hz. Although this version is obsolete, given the depletion of stocks of Intel microcontrollers that fit the electronics, Laser Metrologie still ensures its maintenance for customers who use it.
